Thank you to everyone who came to watch the first weekend of shows. There were some stunning performances involved. If you didn't manage to catch the show, make sure to do so this Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening before the project wraps up!
The Berkeley Dance Project was also recently featured in the UC Berkeley News Center.

Rehearsals Update
As the Berkeley Dance Project enters its final stages, rehearsals have moved from the Bancroft Studio to the Zellerbach Playhouse, where the actual performances will take place. On Monday night, I visited Lisa Wymore's rehearsal. Based on what I saw, it's clear that the performances are really shaping up.
Here are some photographs of the rehearsal. Lisa's piece is inspired by explorations into order and disorder, and consequently features stunning phrases of completely synchronized movement which are then suddenly disrupted by moments of mayhem and disarray.
Until next time,
Tim

Rehearsals Update
As we approach show day, rehearsals are in full swing. Earlier this week choreographers Lisa Wymore, Jo Kreiter, and Ann Carlson held open rehearsals. It was a chance to see the progress of the different pieces.
Watching Lisa Wymore's cast in a run through, the hard work that the team put in definitely showed in the performance.
